This software (FAMS & PAY PAC) is very well thought-out, and fits all our needs. I've tried a number of different programs and none of them seemed to work very well, other than this one.

My personal comments on FAMS are as under:-

The things that I like about the FAMS software is that it is easy to use, meets the all the functionality for maintenance of FAR and is quite user friendly. The software is easy to install by the end user. The functionality of importing data from Excel helps in saving costly manpower and exporting data into Excel enables users to churn out reports in many combinations. We are using it for small and large hotels. In my opinion, for a large project I wouldn't be without it.

I have not found any major deficiencies for a while. Would recommend the following:-

Functionality for a proper lock of period by whic h deletion of depreciation calculated is not possible. A user log report for any modifications done in data prior to the current Financial Year which is already closed. A similar report for change in location of the asset.

The service and sales standards of FAMS team has been above board in all respects. I recommend this software in my individual capacity as an end user. The price charged for the software is value for money.
